Who Are We Becoming?
Spiritual Formation in the Age of AI
So many of us feel the gravity of all the unknowns these days. What impact is AI already making on the job market, on the economy, or on the environment? As valid as these concerns may be, another issue is how AI might help or hinder our own human formation.
What makes a human being different than a machine, and is there something spiritual that could be essential to that difference? In light of the challenges that AI might bring, how might we stay grounded in wise spiritual practices? What virtues will we need to cultivate in an age of AI?
