Carmen House exists to welcome students, faculty, and the broader community to explore the wisdom of Jesus Christ for academic life and human flourishing. Hospitality is a big part of how we do that. Whether you enjoy cooking, welcoming people, helping with events, or simply making a space feel warm and inviting, there are many ways to serve with Carmen House.

Ways to Help
Help us create welcoming environments at speaker events and other gatherings by bringing homemade food, snacks, desserts, or drinks.
Provide Food
Help people feel at home when they arrive. Greet guest, help people find their way, and welcome students & faculty.
Welcome & Host
Help make our events run smoothly behind the scenes. Set up tables and chairs, assist with technology, and tear down after events.
Event Support
Have a particular skill, resource, or idea you'd like to contribute? We'd love to hear about it!

Most volunteer opportunities are flexible and event-based, so you can serve when your schedule allows. No special experience is required, and we'll let you know what needs to be done and help you get connected. Whether you serve once or become a regular volunteer, your time and gifts help us create a welcoming environment where meaningful conversations about faith, learning, and human flourishing can take place.
