Brian Holaday

Director of Development

Brian is the Director of Development for Carmen House.  After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance), he and his wife served for 15 years as campus ministers with Cru—in Ljubljana, Slovenia and at Ohio State—responsible for directing students in their spiritual formation, ministry training, and leadership development.

Brian also served for five years as the Director of Development for Cru Ohio State and received a Certificate of Theological Education from Cru’s Institute of Biblical Studies.  His experiences as a student, missionary and fundraiser have cultivated passions to help individuals and communities develop an integrated Christian faith as well as to help organizations develop strategic resources to wisely steward for redemptive, restorative work.

Brian, his wife Alyssa, and their five children enjoy playing games, listening and dancing to music, and reading aloud together.  He is compelled by helping advance the mission of Carmen House to be a hospitable, faithful presence and a greenhouse of spiritual formation on the doorstep of The Ohio State University for years to come.

Note from the Executive Director:

While Carmen House works to build its annual operating budget, Brian is responsible for raising his own team of ministry partners.  In this critical launch phase of our Christian Study Center, our mission to welcome OSU students to explore the wisdom of Jesus could not happen without the dedicated labor of someone like Brian.  To support Brian’s work, see below.
